A Hell of a Mess to Clean Up

Posted on: October 4, 2009

This administration got a bit too cocky to increase the public debt. This is what quietly strengthens the independents and the Nationals who are driven by the obvious need for transparency and to change a corrupt morality. No one should hide public money – least of all a politician It is now a mess with almost $12 billion of standing debt since 2000, over $8 billion of it liability to the public service and almost $2 billion short for Work Cover. Is it any wonder then that all the ducking and weaving from responsibility of disclosure and repair costs over $18 million a year for “media advisers”?  $2.9 billion of  State revenue gambled lost in one year from bad investments, but why do we have investments instead of clearing the debt? after all, clearing the debt would save over $1.34 million a day in interest and service charges. With 125,000 public servants, 16,000 more since 2000, being paid $285 million a year, 8000 Government cars, 7 accidents a day and $1.7 million in repairs and over 500,000 social delinquents , one third of the entire State population, who refuse to pay $174 million in fines – it will be  a hell
of a mess to clean up and- it will just get worse by March 2010
