Arrogant Abuse of Power in South Australia

Posted on: September 9, 2009

Attempts by the ruling Labor Party to remove the Legislative Council, the House of Review, from the Parliament has failed from its own numbers for a blatant attempt to consolidate power. There is a State election in March 2010. Beware the Ides of March may well set the mood for change. There is a chance, however slim at this moment, to restore community values to governance instead of the arrogant abuse of power by those who have neither the morality or the talent to exercise it.

Karlene proved that the lady is not another Cornes who may yet become a thorn in this ruling junta. The independents, and Karlene&’s Nationals are getting stronger, driven by the need for transparency. Very often  the Advertiser, not always perfect, exposes only a thread extracted from FOI.where the elected Opposition fails. If it were not so,we would have no effective  opposition to the corrupt morality of the two party dominants.. The Libs might well protest, but sitting down at secret dinners paid for by developers for no other reason than to, ” level the playing field” with the Government, says a great deal about them.

I’m so glad I found this site…Keep up the good work I read a lot of blogs on a daily basis and for the most part, people lack substance but, I just wanted to make a quick comment to say GREAT blog. Thanks,

A definite great read.. 🙂

Thanks Bill – Just getting started. Been saving a few things that the junta have forgotten. The problem I have is that the Opposition is not much different and although sometimes imperfect, the Advertiser does a better job on occasions to expose the detail.

Cheers from Bob
