2010 – A Great Opportunity

A Great opportunity  to Recover Some  Communty Values.

With a  population of barely 1.58 million in the whole of South Australia, what is the use of maths,science and literacy if there are over 20,000 calls to drug help line in one year or over 500,000 educated social delinquents rack up $174 million in unpaid fines or new and bigger jails are being planned or the judiciary takes up to 7 years of legal fees ,or teachers are being abused and assaulted, or ambulance and medical staff assaulted for trying to help?  Teachers blame the parents and the problem gets worse, but how  can the teachers deny the  part they play in bringing up children to be acceptable to the society in which they live? What is the use of the Three R’s when the other 2 are not enforced in the mindset of the young- Respect and The Rightness of Things?
